History

Since 2005, the team at REG Power Management (formerly AIM-listed REG) has been dedicated to developing new renewable energy projects to help in the shift to a zero carbon future. To date, REG Power has developed over 1GW of wind, solar and bioenergy projects in the UK, with over 40 projects built and in operation today.

2005

Originally listed on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market in 2005
Original investor in Poland’s largest windfarm at Tymien
Acquired a large portfolio of project development sites from RWE
Acquired the operational Goonhilly Downs windfarm in Cornwall

2006

Acquired Canada’s largest wind developer AIM PowerGen

2007

Acquired REG Bio-Power in the UK – waste cooking oil to power

2010

Sold AIM PowerGen to International Power for EV of $185m

2013

Signed asset investment and asset management agreements with BlackRock, selling   three windfarms to their initial Fund

2015

Management team took the Company private returning $85m to shareholders

2016

  • Further asset sales to BlackRock Funds

2017

  • Reached agreement to take over project asset management for John Laing funds.
  • Agreement signed with ESB to develop 200MW of new wind projects in Scotland.

2019

  • Sale of RPM's Asset Management business to RES
  • Sale of REG Bio-Power to a UK investment fund
  • Joint Development Agreement signed with Falck Renewables SpA to develop a portfolio of UK onshore wind and solar assets

2020

  • Strath Tirry Wind Farm in the Highlands, Scotland

2021

Part of REG since 2007 as Group Finance Director overseeing all financial planning, reporting and corporate governance of the Group.

Commercial Director

Part of REG since 2010, raised over £250m in debt and equity for the Group through debt financing and project disposals.

Development Director

Part of REG since 2009 with oversight of and responsibility for REG Power’s portfolio of wind and solar projects.
